Laimon Soap Co.
Laimon is a fictional skin care brand that features a trio of assorted soaps working together to leave your skin smooth and beautiful. I embarked on this project with the initial prompt of designing packaging for a product. However, I wanted to go beyond the brief and create a fully-fledged soap company.
To start, I designed a box template that could be tied up once the soap was inside. But I didn't stop there - I wanted to give the project a more realistic feel. So, I bought soap molds and made goat milk soap in various scents. I then illustrated different citrus fruits and created a pattern for the individual soap wrappers. I also developed a logo and branding for the company.
To showcase my work, I created a publication ad and a website landing page for the e-commerce site. I had to take photos in a studio to feature the soap in the ad and on the site. By the end of the project, I had developed a finished product with several touchpoints.
The Problem
As a new company, Laimon Soap Co. required a brand and logo that reflected their clean, modern, organic approach to body soap. Once the branding was established, they needed a product line, a digital presence, packaging, and advertisements for effective market launch.
The Solution
I designed the logo and branding, created the soaps, illustrated the wrapping paper, designed the packaging, and photographed the final products together. Additionally, I created a publication ad and digital space to showcase the work and bring the project to life.
